Mariachi Herencia Mexicana is very proud to promote mariachi music throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Since it's inception in 2007 MHM has performed on the Charlie Clark Nissan TV show, headlined a benefit concert for the Historic Border Theater in Mission TX, annual PalmFest International Folklife Festival in McAllen TX. Also provided many private celebrations with festive music.

Our mission is to promote and celebrate the music of the Mexican culture which has made itself present throughout the United States. Mariachi Herencia Mexicana has gained attention and praise through out the Rio Grande Valley through a myriad of successful performances at diverse venues. The group was originally founded in Mission, Texas in Late April of 2007. This lively ensemble is composed of 10 young and motivated musicians between the ages 15 - 27, all representing the integral instrumentation of a modern day mariachi including violins, trumpets, guitarron, vihuela, harp and guitars.
